supersize it!

Oversize blazers go supersized, re-introducing the 80's power suit and much loved shoulder pad for an elevated look.

As this trend isn't the most flattering (lets be honest!) the trick is to play around with proportions. Although there is no right or wrong way of styling, I'd suggest wearing something slimming on the bottom half as seen on Balenciaga's SS17 show as the blazer is such a statement piece itself. Alternatively, if you're slightly top heavy, maybe opt for something with a slight flared or frilled hem to balance out the silhouette. 

Another top tip! If you're searching for the perfect supersize blazer, look closer. The one I'm wearing which is almost identical to Zara's version actually came from my dads wardrobe would you believe! Vintage shops are also great. If all fails, you can always rely on Zara to produce the perfect dupe.
